Jakarta – Indonesia has once again submitted three nominations for intangible cultural heritage to UNESCO for the 2026 designation. All three have supporting research and are currently under discussion. Starting with tempe, Mak Yong theater which has an extension with Malaysia, and Suriname, the submissions highlight the rich cultural diversity that Indonesia and its partners bring to the international stage.
