Lone bettor takes home R$ 99 million prize

A resident of Barra de São Francisco, in the northwest region of Espírito Santo, won the Mega-Sena jackpot alone in the draw held on Tuesday, 5. The prize amount was R$ 99,592,255.98, the result of a single bet made in person in the city center. The winning ticket was registered at the Mapa da Mina Lottery and matched the six numbers drawn in the 2,897th contest at the Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo. The numbers drawn were: 01, 06, 24, 27, 28, and 57, securing the entire prize for the bettor from Espírito Santo.
