Suzuki Launches First-Ever Electric SUV with Two Batteries and 4WD

Suzuki officially presents its first electric vehicle— the eVitara, built on the new Heartect-e platform and manufactured in India. The model has already been released in the UK, available in two versions—Motion and Ultra— priced from £26,249 (approximately $35,000). The e-crossover features batteries with capacities of 49 or 61 kWh and electric motors ranging from 142 to 172 hp. The AllGrip-e all-wheel-drive version includes a rear electric motor of 48 kWh, totaling 181 hp. The range is estimated at up to 400 km, with a 45-minute charging time from 10 to 80% using DC connection.
