The Woodstock-based non-profit organization, Hearts for Ethiopia, successfully raised $24,020 through its recent event, A Walk in Their Shoes. Ten teams and individual participants collected donations to fund projects in Ethiopia during the October 18th fundraiser. Shelley Green, founder of Hearts for Ethiopia, expressed gratitude for the community’s support. The money raised will significantly impact Ethiopia by funding transformative projects. The event featured an outdoor walk, Ethiopian coffee ceremony, market, and educational activities to raise awareness about the country’s challenges.
