Almeria Tourists Safely Evacuated Following Nile Cruise Ship Fire in Egypt

A group of Almeria residents found themselves in a distressing situation as they had to be evacuated from a cruise ship during their journey in Egypt. The fire, which occurred on Tuesday, October 28, completely destroyed the Iberotel Crown Empress cruise ship while it was sailing near Luxor on the Nile River. Despite the damage to the ship and some passengers’ belongings, all individuals on board were safely evacuated with no injuries sustained. The incident was reportedly caused by an electric short circuit in the ship’s bar area.
