Telkom Strengthens Indonesia’s Digital Sovereignty with Data Center in Batam

Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, together with its strategic partners Nxera (Singtel) and Medco Power Indonesia, has completed the topping off phase of the Hyperscale Data Center (HDC) NeutraDC Nxera Batam in the industrial area of Kabil, Batam, Riau Islands (Kepri). This project is a significant step for TelkomGroup in strengthening Indonesia’s digital sovereignty. Telkom’s CEO, Dian Siswarini, emphasized that the construction of NeutraDC Nxera Batam HDC is part of TelkomGroup’s grand strategy to maintain national digital sovereignty. With large capacity and integrated infrastructure ranging from undersea cables, fiber optics, to satellites, Telkom ensures that Indonesia’s strategic data is managed locally.
