Sancho Villaseca: Spanish Entrepreneur in Indonesia, 26 years old

Sancho Villaseca, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Madrid, made a bold decision to leave behind his business, routine, and apartment in Madrid to start afresh on a remote island in Indonesia. Swapping the city noise for the sound of waves, vans for a boxing bag, and work emails for the laughter of local children, Sancho found himself in Lombok, where he founded the Little Warriors Project, a charitable gym providing free boxing classes for the local kids. Amidst rice fields, temples, and wild beaches, Sancho’s gym is not just a sports facility but a lifeline for the children and himself, as he realized he didn’t want to spend his life ‘between vans.’ In an interview with La Vanguardia, he shared his journey from being a self-employed individual in Spain to a social entrepreneur in Indonesia, using boxing as his way to give back to the world.
