Lanús defeats Universidad de Chile and will face Atlético in the final of the South American Cup

Lanús secured their spot in the final of the Copa Sudamericana by defeating Universidad de Chile with a narrow victory on Thursday night at the Ciudad de Lanús Stadium. Rodrigo Castillo scored the winning goal for the Argentine team. With an aggregate score of 3-2, the ‘Granate’ advanced to the final. The opening goal by Lanús came at the 11th minute through Marcelino Moreno, however, it was disallowed by VAR for offside.
