Ayaz Shabutdinov, convicted of fraud, sentenced to 7 years in prison: the coach’s final words

Ayaz Shabutdinov has just been sentenced to 7 years in prison with a fine of 5 million rubles. Before the final verdict, the entrepreneur spoke his last words. He mentioned that ‘two years in pre-trial detention is a loss of friends, a loss of trust that can never be regained.’ He also emphasized that he apologized to every victim. ‘I compensated all the people who were willing to accept it. I didn’t intend harm, and my intentions to help were sincere,’ Ayaz whispered. ‘Failure doesn’t happen suddenly. Failure happens when you stop doubting… I stopped doubting myself, my strengths, and my capabilities. The rapid growth of my business led to my loss of touch with reality. Unrealistic expectations arose, aggressive advertising, and aggressive sales. I started making many other mistakes that led to the crime.’
