Protests Against Government Erupt on Streets in Tanzania; 700 Dead, Curfew Imposed

After the recent national elections in Tanzania, the situation has been escalating out of control. Violent protests erupted across the country even before the election results were announced. The unrest has led to a state of chaos with 700 reported deaths so far. In response to the escalating violence, a curfew has been imposed to try and restore order. The situation is dire, with tensions running high amongst the population.
