Russian Defense Ministry: 98 Ukrainian UAVs Shot Down Over Russian Regions Overnight

Russian air defense systems repelled a massive drone attack overnight, destroying 98 Ukrainian UAVs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Moscow time, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. The majority of the drones were shot down over the Belgorod region – 45 in total. Additionally, 12 drones were destroyed over the Samara region, 11 over the Moscow region, including six flying towards Moscow. Ten UAVs were shot down over the Voronezh and Rostov regions each, four over the Tula region, two over the Lipetsk and Ryazan regions, and one each over the Kursk and Kaluga regions.
