New Delhi (Language) – The worrying news for the economy has arrived as the central government’s budget deficit has reached over 36.5% in the first six months of the financial year 2025-26. This figure is significantly higher compared to the deficit of just 29% in the previous year 2024-25. The situation has arisen at a time when the government is spending heavily on consecutive development projects, infrastructure, and social schemes, while income from taxes and other sources is not increasing as expected.
