Jokowi Attends Funeral and Prays for PB XIII at Keraton Solo

Jokowi, the 7th President of Indonesia, paid his respects to the King of Keraton Solo, PB XIII. Jokowi was accompanied by the Mayor of Solo, Respati Ardi. According to detikJateng’s observations, Jokowi arrived around 8:30 PM. As Jokowi arrived, he was greeted by the children of PB XIII and relatives from the Kasunanan Surakarta Palace. Jokowi was seen wearing a long batik shirt, black trousers, and a traditional cap. Jokowi was immediately directed to Sasono Parasdya, where the body of PB XIII was laid. There, Jokowi took part in the funeral prayer and prayed for the deceased. After about 20 minutes of condolence, Jokowi then bid farewell to the family and relatives. On this occasion, Jokowi expressed his deepest condolences for the passing of PB XIII. “First and foremost, I express my deepest condolences for the passing of sinuhun due to illness these past few months,” Jokowi told the media at the Kasunanan Surakarta Palace on Sunday (11/2/2025). “May the deeds of sinuhun be accepted by Allah SWT, placed in the best place, and forgiven of all his sins,” he said.
