The father of the 20-year-old woman who died after being shot during a robbery on Saturday night used his daughter’s social media to mourn and inform about her death. In videos released, Beatriz Munhoz’s father recounts that his daughter was killed with a shot in the head in front of him after being robbed in Sao Paulo. ‘She was murdered in Sao Paulo during a robbery. They shot my daughter in the head and took my little one. You know how she was,’ he says. ‘She was a good person. She helped me a lot, a lot. We were victims of a robbery,’ the man stressed.
Understanding the case, a young woman of 20 years died after being shot in the head during a robbery on Saturday night on Pacoeira Street, in the Sapopemba neighborhood, in the east zone of Sao Paulo. According to the SSP (Public Security Secretary), the victim, along with her father and boyfriend, was waiting for a supposed buyer of a drone, when two suspects on a motorcycle announced the robbery. During the action, the victim’s father had his cellphone stolen, and then the young woman used pepper spray against the suspects, who reacted by firing a shot. She was taken to the State Hospital of Sapopemba, but did not survive the injuries and died.
As reported by CNN Brasil, the victim is identified as Beatriz Munhoz. On social media, the father of the young woman mourns the incident and informs that his daughter was murdered in front of him and her boyfriend. After the crime, the suspects fled, leaving behind a thermal bag similar to those used by deliverymen. Military police officers conducted searches in the area and located a motorcycle with the same characteristics used in the robbery, which was seized for forensic analysis.
