Egypt Begins Production of 10 Advanced Weapons

Egypt officially started the production phase for the PV43-M warship program in collaboration between NVL Egypt (a subsidiary of the German NVL Group) and the Alexandria Shipyard. This program includes building ten modern warships specifically designed for maritime reconnaissance, surveillance, and protection of vital underwater structures. NVL Egypt was chosen as a key partner for this project in 2023, supporting the development of national capabilities and building an independent maritime defense industry. The PV43-M ships feature advanced combat capabilities, including self-defense, anti-surface ship warfare, precise surveillance, and rapid response, crucial for protecting national economic assets in regional waters.
