Flamengo prepares protections for Pedro to return to play before the Libertadores final; understand

Flamengo is planning to have Pedro back for the Libertadores final. The center-forward fractured his right forearm about two weeks ago in the first leg of the semifinal against Racing. However, the medical team considers the progress positive and is working to have him back on the field by the end of the month. In fact, they are already developing some protections that will allow him to play even during the consolidation process. Pedro suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right ulna and did not require surgery. Since then, he has been given an axillopalmar immobilization in his arm—meaning above the elbow—to avoid rotation in the area and speed up the consolidation process. He was seen today at Ninho do Urubu with this protection when he was honored for playing 300 games for the team.
