She passed away at her home in California on November 3, where she was surrounded by her daughter. Throughout her career, Ladd appeared in over 200 films and television series. She was nominated for an Oscar three times for Best Supporting Actress in 1975, 1990, and 1991. She received a Golden Globe in 1981.
