Gujarat is experiencing a shift in weather patterns today on November 4, 2025, with most major cities recording temperatures below the average maximum temperature expected after the monsoon season. As per data recorded by the weather department on November 3, a decrease in the maximum temperature has been observed in many regions of the state, signaling the onset of cooler weather. Majority of the major cities have recorded temperatures ranging from 0.7°C to 4.1°C below the normal maximum temperature.
Naliya has experienced the most significant drop in temperature, with the maximum temperature recorded being 4.1°C below the usual level, standing at 31.0°C. The coastal areas of Saurashtra have also witnessed a cooling trend. Porbandar recorded a maximum temperature of 31.5°C, which is 3.9°C lower than normal.
Surat and Veraval have also seen temperatures dropping below the usual level, with both cities recording temperatures of 3.6°C and 3.4°C respectively. Other cities like Dwarka (3.1°C), Diu (2.8°C), Disa (2.7°C), and Vadodara (2.5°C) have also recorded maximum temperatures two degrees or more below the normal level.
Only in Okha, there has been an increase in lifeless activities. While the entire state is experiencing cooler weather, Okha stands out as the only place where the maximum temperature of 32.0°C is 0.9°C higher than usual. Meanwhile, other major cities like Ahmedabad (33.8°C) and Bhavnagar (33.7°C) have seen maximum temperatures hovering around the normal level.
