Indonesia U-17 Trailing 1-3 against Zambia U-17 in First Half

Indonesia U-17 struggled to contain Zambia U-17’s game in the first half of the 2025 U-17 World Cup. The young Garuda team was trailing 1-3 at halftime. The Indonesia U-17 vs. Zambia U-17 match on the first matchday of Group H took place at Field 8, Aspire Zone, Al Rayyan, Qatar, on Tuesday (11/4/2025). The game was tightly contested from the beginning. Zambia even managed to score a quick goal before the first minute of play. Luckily, Mapalo Simute’s goal was disallowed for offside after the referee checked VAR. Indonesia slowly started to gain control of the game. Lucas Lee had a chance with his shot, but it was too weak to trouble Zambia’s goalkeeper.
