Putin declares that “Burevestnik” and “Poseidon” will ensure strategic parity throughout the 21st century

Moscow, November 4. INTERFAX.RU – Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the missile “Burevestnik” and the unmanned underwater vehicle “Poseidon” will ensure strategic parity throughout the 21st century.
On Tuesday, the Russian President awarded state awards to the developers of the strategic nuclear-powered cruise missile “Burevestnik” and the unmanned underwater vehicle “Poseidon”.
“The results you have achieved have, without exaggeration, historical significance for our people, for ensuring security and strategic parity for decades to come, we can confidently say throughout the 21st century,” Putin said during the award ceremony for the developers of “Burevestnik” and “Poseidon”.
He mentioned that only domestic materials are used in “Burevestnik” and “Poseidon”, and some of them can also be applied in civilian industries in the Arctic and space sectors.
Thanks to extensive cooperation, a true treasure trove of new materials, technologies, unmanned, software, and digital solutions, as well as components, has been created, noted Putin.
