In Velhe, a successful rescue operation was carried out in a resort where a 12-foot python was found. The python was safely captured by forest officials and snake rescuers. The resort’s manager, Santosh Bhondekar, was immediately informed about the situation. He contacted Pune District Wildlife and Snake Rescuer Association members Vishal Nagine, Vikas Bhikule, and forest workers for assistance. The rescue mission was led by forest officers Anil Landge and Vaishali Hadwale, with the guidance of snake rescuers Sarika Bhaimule, Bhagyashree Jagtap, Swapnil Umbarke, and Nikhil Raskar. The coordination ensured the python was captured without harm and safely released back into its natural habitat under forest department supervision.
