Eight mayors in Indonesia have been chosen to participate in the Regional Leadership Strengthening Course (KPPD) batch II in 2025. Among these elected officials is Mayor of Kendari, Siska Karina Imran. The course is organized by the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Siska expressed her pride at being one of the eight selected mayors from across Indonesia. ‘This is a big responsibility and a valuable opportunity to lead Kendari towards progress and competitiveness,’ stated Siska to reporters on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
