The Indonesia U-17 national team suffered a defeat in their opening match of Group H in the 2025 U-17 World Cup against Zambia U-17. Garuda Muda now looks ahead to their second match against Brazil.
The first matchday of Group H in the 2025 U-17 World Cup saw Indonesia face Zambia. The duel took place at Pitch 8, Aspire Zone, Al Rayyan, Qatar, on Tuesday (11/4/2025).
In that match, Garuda Muda went down 1-3 to the African team. Indonesia initially took the lead through a goal by Zahaby Gholy.
However, the Indonesian team conceded three goals in just six minutes. This defeat temporarily places Indonesia in third position in Group H.
The next two matches will see Garuda Muda go up against Brazil on Friday (11/7) at 10:45 PM WIB or 11:45 PM Wita. They will then face Honduras on Monday (11/10) at 9:45 PM WIB or 10:45 PM Wita.
