Mexican President Criticizes Bullying Incident for the First Time; Victim Receives Support

Continuing, the unidentified victim who arrived at a location unfamiliar to them was approached by one person who built a relationship with them. The video footage captured by a phone from a distance at the scene, where the perpetrator suddenly grabbed and assaulted the victim, has gone viral on the internet. Following this, the victim who was ambushed during the incident was then declared arrested and detained, as stated by Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada. In this situation, President Claudio Sheinbaum, who previously mentioned that bullying incidents like these are not tolerated, made a decision to speak out against the perpetrator who bullied the victim today. Regarding this, he said: “This is an experience that I had as a woman. But because we all, as women in our country, experience things like this, I have decided to take action and speak out against the bully. Like this, even when I was a student before becoming the president, I have experienced it.”
