São Paulo and Flamengo are confirmed for tonight’s match at Vila Belmiro in the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship.
Teams line-ups
Under Hernán Crespo’s command, São Paulo will start with: Rafael; Ferraresi, Arboleda, and Sabino; Cedric, Bobadilla, Pablo Maia, Luiz Gustavo, and Ferreirinha; Luciano and Tapia.
Meanwhile, Filipe Luís sets up Flamengo with: Rossi; Emerson Royal, Danilo, Leo Pereira, and Alex Sandro; Pulgar, Saúl, De Arrascaeta; Carrascal, Samuel Lino, and Gonzalo Plata.
Enzo Díaz and Alan Franco are absent for São Paulo, but Luciano is back in the attack after suspension, replacing Lucas, who is rested — similar to Marcos Antônio. Luiz Gustavo and Ferreirinha start as well.
On the Rio side, Pedro remains out, but Alex Sandro is back in the starting lineup after missing two games. Carrascal returns, having recovered from a rib bone edema.
Importance for both sides
In eighth place with 44 points, Tricolor is aiming for a pre-Libertadores spot — Fluminense, in seventh, has 47 points.
Meanwhile, Flamengo is fighting at the top of the table, just one point behind leaders Palmeiras. Palmeiras plays tomorrow in a derby against Santos.
The match kicks off in Santos at 9:30 pm (Brasilia time). The broadcast will be on Globo and Premiere.
