The Workers’ Party (PT) mourned the death of former state deputy Paulo Frateschi, stabbed by his own son on Thursday morning (6), in the Lapa neighborhood, west zone of São Paulo. In a statement sent to CNN Brasil, the party expressed solidarity with Frateschi’s family and friends. The former parliamentarian was described as a ‘companion and dedicated militant’ of the PT. ‘Paulo Frateschi leaves a legacy, marked by the fight for justice and inclusion. He will remain alive in our hearts and in the actions he helped inspire,’ the statement says.
