The blasts, originating near the loudspeaker, caused minor to severe injuries. Police Chief Asep Edi Suheri stated an anti-bomb squad found toy rifles and a toy gun nearby.
People were swiftly taken to nearby hospitals. While some were discharged after treatment, 20 students remained hospitalized, three with serious injuries.
