Young man shot in the back on Anel Rodoviário ramp in BH

A young man, appearing to be around 25 years old, was killed with a gunshot to the back on the Anel Rodoviário ramp near the Betânia neighborhood in the West Region of Belo Horizonte (MG) in the early hours of Thursday (7/8). The man was found lying on the ground, with two helmets nearby, on the MG-040 road at 1:35 a.m., behind the Epa Supermarkets. The Emergency Mobile Care Service (Samu) was called by an anonymous caller, who believed it was a traffic accident, and the medical team attempted resuscitation maneuvers, without success. According to the police report, the attending doctor confirmed the man had a gunshot wound to the chest and pronounced him dead. The forensic team arrived at the scene and determined that the shot entered the man’s back and exited through the front, possibly causing the death. The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) for examination and identification. The case was forwarded to the 2nd Civil Police Station of Barreiro for further investigation. So far, no suspects have been identified or arrested.
