Say Goodbye to Gasoline: Jeep Prepares an Entire Army of Electric SUVs

In 2026, Jeep plans to unveil several major premieres. The main one is the electric SUV Recon, which will maintain the brand’s renowned off-road capabilities. The model will feature an e-locker system, underbody protection, and specialized off-road tires. The presentation is expected at the end of 2025 or early 2026. The lineup of the new Jeep Compass will also expand. Apart from the Mild Hybrid and electric version with 213 hp and a range of about 500 km, there will be a Plug-in version with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total power will be 195 hp. For the electric version, options with 73 and 97 kWh batteries and power up to 375 hp are planned. The large electric SUV Wagoneer S will also debut in Europe in 2026. It is equipped with two motors producing around 600 hp and a 100 kWh battery providing up to 480 km of range. All these innovations may be among the new 2026 vehicles setting the direction for Jeep’s electric segment.
