The long-standing dispute between India and Pakistan over the Asia Cup 2025 trophy has finally seen a ray of hope. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia and PCB Chairman Mohsin Nakvi have reached an agreement in a meeting in Dubai. The controversy arose during the Asia Cup T20 final where India’s team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, defeated Pakistan on September 28 in Dubai. ACC’s chief attempted to hand over the trophy to Nakvi, but India’s team refused to accept it. As a result, the trophy currently remains at the ACC headquarters. It is suggested that the dispute may be resolved soon.
