Indonesian authorities are currently conducting an investigation following explosions that rocked a mosque in Jakarta, resulting in injuries to almost 100 individuals during Friday prayers. Police suspect that the incident may have been a deliberate attack carried out by a 17-year-old student. The discovery of what is believed to be explosive powder has further fueled suspicions of a planned assault. Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo mentioned at a press conference the presence of incriminating materials, such as written documents and possible explosive substances, hinting at a premeditated act. Social media and familial connections are being scrutinized for additional information.
