Indonesia investigates student involvement in blasts injuring nearly 100

The national police chief revealed they had gathered “several pieces of evidence” in the investigation. Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that there was writing and powder found that could have caused the explosions. While one student has been identified as a suspect, Listyo did not rule out the possibility of others being involved. Authorities are also looking into the suspect’s family background and social media accounts. Ninety-six individuals were wounded, an increase from the initial report of 54 casualties. Fourteen victims are still hospitalized, with two in intensive care.
