Influencer MauMau Arrested in SP During Operation Against Tigrinho Game

Influencer arrested in São Paulo for illegal gun possession, according to Rio de Janeiro Civil Police. The influencer known as MauMau ZK was arrested during an operation against the promotion of the popular ‘Tigrinho’ game on social media. He was detained for possessing a restricted-use firearm – a .38 caliber pistol with a scratched-off serial number. MauMau is a key target of the operation, which investigates a criminal organization involved in promoting illegal gambling, fraud, and money laundering. Rio de Janeiro Civil Police executed 31 search and seizure warrants in Rio de Janeiro, two addresses in São Paulo, and five in Minas Gerais. Investigations revealed that digital influencers were promoting games like ‘Tigrinho’ and similar platforms, considered illegal in Brazil. They used social media to attract followers with promises of easy profits disguised as advertising actions.
