Want to be the Future Bill Gates? Metas Highest-Paid Employees Share Advice with Youngsters

Alexander Wang may not be a household name for many, but he is only 29 years old and studied at the prestigious MIT in the United States. However, he chose to leave his academic path halfway to focus on learning artificial intelligence. Wang has no formal mentor; he is self-taught. Today, he is one of the highest-paid employees at Meta, Mark Zuckerberg’s company. To young aspiring individuals, Alexander advises, ‘If you’re 13 years old, focus only on coding. Do not look in any other direction.’ Learning? The results will speak for themselves. The thought remains the same.

But what exactly is this ‘coding correctly’? ‘Coding properly’ is not just about coding. It’s a ‘term’ meaning learning by hand. Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai has used the term ‘coding properly’ in several interviews. Traditional education is essential, but it is not the only way to learn. Alexander Wang or Sundar Pichai believes that what can be learned by doing can’t be taught by anyone else. It’s what is known as ‘hands-on experience.’

While learning in this way, mistakes will be made. They must be corrected. Tests must be conducted. More mistakes will be made, and corrections must be made again. This is a process. In Alexander Wang’s words, ‘Code correctly all day long. If you can spend 10,000 hours with artificial intelligence, analyzing outputs, you won’t need to look back. Prompting, output analysis, all must be learned to use this tool most effectively, stay focused.’
