Controversy surrounds Salman Khan’s movie ‘Kaantha’ as Tamil actor M.K. Thyagaraja Bagavathar files a petition against its release before the scheduled November 14 launch. The petition, submitted in the Chennai court by actor Sanjeev Chennaites for allegedly misrepresenting his grandfather’s life in the film, highlights concerns over the depiction of negative roles and the unauthorized biopic release. However, Sanjeev claims that his grandfather lived happily until his last days, contrary to the portrayal in the movie.
