Xpeng P7+ Debut in Europe with Fast Charging and Impressive Range

The debut of the new Xpeng P7+ with fast charging capabilities took place in Europe recently. This Chinese electric sedan is set to make a mark in the European market by offering a charging time of just 12 minutes to go from 10% to 80%. This quick charging system positions the Xpeng P7+ as a major competitor to Tesla Model 3 and BMW i4. Built on an 800-volt architecture, the Xpeng P7+ comes with two battery options – 60.7 kWh and 76.3 kWh. The range on the CLTC Chinese cycle reaches 725 km, translating to approximately 550 km on the WLTP standard or around 500 km in city driving conditions. With power ranging from 245 to 313 horsepower, the 5C charging speed allows for a 525 km range in just 10 minutes.
The sedan measures 5.05 meters in length, showcasing a design that emphasizes aerodynamics and minimalism. The interior features a futuristic style with all functions controlled through two panoramic touchscreens. The impressive electronics include an autonomous driving system utilizing three Turing chips with a performance of 2250 TOPS, enabling smooth navigation through dense city traffic.
The estimated price ranges from 40,000 to 45,000 euros. If Xpeng manages to maintain these prices upon entering the European market, the P7+ could become one of the most compelling offers in the electric sedan segment. It combines power, fast charging capabilities, and a price point that German competitors find hard to match.
