CTARSA Foundation Signs MoU with Strategic Partner, Empowers 16 Young Educators

CTARSA Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to advancing education and community welfare in Indonesia by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several strategic partners. The event also saw the empowerment of the 5th batch of 16 Young Educators.
Attended by the Chairperson of CTARSA Foundation, Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, the event took place at Menara Mega Syariah, Jl HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/11/2025).
During the MoU signing ceremony, CTARSA collaborated with various partners, including AirNav Indonesia, which has been a partner since 2022.
“We are committed to continue working with CTARSA Foundation in spreading goodness across the country,” said the CEO of the Air Navigation Service Provider Indonesia (LPPNPI)/AirNav Indonesia, Capt. Avirianto Suratno.
Empowering 16 Young Educators
The event also saw the empowerment of 16 Young Educators. Through the Pijar program, CTARSA empowers young educators to teach in remote areas of Indonesia.
Since 2021, the program has sent 50 volunteer teachers to 18 schools across eight islands, from Sumatra, Java, Sumba, Flores, Lembata, Timor, to Kalimantan. The Pijar young educators have supported over 1,786 students and 170 local teachers, bringing the spirit of learning to hard-to-reach areas.
CTARSA Foundation was established in 2005, starting with a focus on children affected by the Aceh tsunami. Since then, the foundation has grown to establish CTARSA High Schools in Deli Serdang (2010) and Sukoharjo (2018). Over two decades, CTARSA has upheld the vision of “breaking the cycle of poverty through quality education and optimal health.”
