Fred Senanayake, Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Islamabad, Mahsood Nakvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, and government officials held a meeting to discuss the security matter. It was stated that Nakvi assured the Sri Lankan team officials of their complete security during their visit.
