Typhoon Vongfong triggers evacuation of 8,300 people from coastal and mountainous regions of Taiwan!

Typhoon Vongfong, which originated in the South China Sea, has led to the evacuation of 8,300 people from the coastal and mountainous areas of Taiwan as a precautionary measure. According to the Central Weather Bureau’s report on the typhoon’s path, heavy rainfall has been reported in various parts of the island, along with severe weather conditions involving strong winds reaching up to 90 km/h. The typhoon’s devastating effects have also caused 27 fatalities in the Philippines, with 51 reported injuries so far.
