DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The head-to-head between Rory McIlroy and Marco Penge at the season-ending World Tour Championship has gotten off to an extremely one-sided start. McIlroy shot a remarkable 6-under 66, including seven birdies, while Penge struggled to a 74 on the first round on Thursday. Despite Penge’s birdie on the 18th hole to avoid being last, it’s clear he has a tough challenge ahead to reach McIlroy’s level.
