The women’s peloton welcomes the inaugural Continental team from Africa with the unveiling of Team Amani during Rouleur Live. Established in 2020, the team elevates to UCI Continental level for 2026, aspiring to participate in the Tour de France Femmes, Giro d’Italia Women, and La Vuelta Femenina by 2028. Team Amani, led by mentor and ambassador Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, will have its base in Ethiopia and consist of riders from East Africa, including Ethiopia and Rwanda. Major partners POC and Rapha have joined hands with the team. Moolman Pasio, a Women’s WorldTour contender for AG Insurance-Soudal, aims to guide Team Amani towards global recognition.
