Duílio Admits Expenses on Card and Needs to Prove Reimbursement

Former Corinthians president Duílio Monteiro Alves testified this afternoon to prosecutor Cássio Conserino from the Public Ministry of São Paulo. The online hearing, lasting about seven minutes, focused on the expenses incurred by Duílio during his three-year term, amid an investigation into the misappropriation of the club’s corporate cards. During the testimony, Duílio acknowledged personal expenses of R$1,300 on the Corinthians’ card. He stated that these amounts were immediately reimbursed and detailed in the expense reports. However, it was found that the total expenses under scrutiny reached R$35,000 over the three years of his presidency. These expenses were divided into R$5,000 in the first year, R$11,000 in the second year, and the remaining in the third year.
