Jepara to Host Indonesia Traditional Music Festival 2025

Jepara has been honored this year to host the 2025 Indonesia Traditional Music Festival (FMTI) named ‘Ethno Groove Devanilaya.’ The festival is set to take place at the Kartini Beach Turtle Statue, chosen as the symbol and main icon for the grand concert. Ali Hidayat, the Head of Jepara Tourism and Culture Department, expressed appreciation for Jepara’s selection as the FMTI venue. This marks the first time FMTI is held in Central Java, bringing hopes for the development of art, culture, and tourism in Jepara. “I hope for clear weather, smooth activities, and a pleasant experience for both Jepara residents and visitors from outside the region,” Ali stated in a press release on Friday, November 14, 2025.
