Filipe Luís to improvise at Flamengo for game against Sport

Filipe Luís has 12 absences to select Flamengo’s team to face Sport in a postponed Brasileirão match on Saturday (15), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Ilha do Retiro. The coach doesn’t have Alex Sandro, Danilo, Carrascal, Plata, Viña, Varela, Arrascaeta, Pedro, Allan, Léo Ortiz, and Jorginho available, due to call-ups and injuries. Following medical advice, Nico De La Cruz is also out. Defensive issues arise, but the real challenge for the coach will be in the attack. In defense, youngster João Victor is likely to start alongside Léo Pereira. As for the full-backs, Emerson Royal and Ayrton Lucas are the options. To form the midfield duo, the coach can rely on Pulgar and Saúl. However, the offensive quartet will require some improvisation.
