Tim Cook May Step Down as Apple CEO in 2026, According to Financial Times

London, November 15 – The Chief Executive Officer of American corporation Apple, Tim Cook, may step down from his position in 2026. This information was reported by the British newspaper Financial Times (FT) citing sources. According to these sources, the most likely successor is the senior vice president of hardware engineering, John Ternus, although a final decision has not yet been made. The publication noted that the company is unlikely to announce the name of the new CEO until the publication of the next financial report in January. It is presumed that the arrival of a new leader at the beginning of the year will allow him to better prepare for two key events in Apple’s annual schedule – the developers’ conference in June and the release of a new model of the iPhone in September.
