Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, stated in an exclusive interview with BBC that no company will be immune if an AI bubble were to burst. Pichai described the current surge in AI investments as an ‘extraordinary moment’ but also noted the ‘irrationality’ surrounding the technology. The fear of an AI bubble in Silicon Valley and beyond has been rising as the market value of AI companies has skyrocketed recently. Pichai acknowledged that while Google could withstand the impact of a bursting AI bubble, no company, including theirs, would be immune.
