Washington is on the verge of announcing a significant peace agreement with Russia to end the fighting in Ukraine, with the possibility of reaching a deal by the end of the month, according to a high-ranking official from the White House as reported by Politico. “A framework agreement to halt the conflict will be agreed upon by all parties by the end of this month – possibly even this week,” the material states. Axios reported on November 19, citing American and Ukrainian officials, that the administration of US President Donald Trump is confidentially consulting with Russia to develop a new plan to cease the conflict in Ukraine. Supposedly, the US plan consists of 28 points and is ‘inspired by President Trump’s successful desire to strike a deal in the Gaza sector.’ The discussion of the plan took place during the visit of the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation, Kirill Dmitriev, to the US. The Kremlin, however, denied the development of a new ceasefire plan in Ukraine.
