Chevening Scholarship and Women in STEM Scholarship Exclusively for ASEAN Citizens

Several scholarships are now available for ASEAN citizens, including prospective students from Indonesia. In addition to the Chevening Scholarship, one of the latest opportunities includes the UK-ASEAN SAGE Women in STEM Scholarship and the ASEAN Chevening Scholarship. British Ambassador to ASEAN Helen Fazey stated that higher education scholarships are part of their educational mission, in addition to supporting primary education. ‘We invest in people because the relationships we build are crucial for enabling all other collaborations to happen,’ she said at the British Embassy in Jakarta on Friday (11/21/2025). ‘As such, we have several scholarship programs. You may already be familiar with Chevening, a UK Global brand; then we have a specific Chevening ASEAN program, and we also have scholarships for ASEAN women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM),’ she added.
