Doctor and TV host Elena Malysheva shames two cancer survivors on the show ‘Living Healthily!’ on Channel One, calling them crazy. The program episode is available on the channel’s website. The show discussed the HPV vaccine, which can cause several types of cancer. The guests were a 37-year-old woman who had her uterus and fallopian tubes removed due to HPV-related cervical cancer, and a 50-year-old man who survived throat cancer.
Malysheva asked the guests if they had vaccinated their children or grandchildren against HPV, to which they both replied negatively. The doctor was outraged by their answers, expressing her disbelief. ‘I would go to great lengths, find the vaccine, and vaccinate the children. I would come to Moscow, pay for it. I don’t understand their position, even if you kill me…’ she said.
‘If someone told you, ‘A brick is flying towards your child’s head,’ and you said, ‘Well, we’ll wait till protective gear comes to our region,’ you would look crazy, right? But here it’s the same craziness,’ the doctor added.
