A plane owned by BRO Skydive Indonesia with registration number PK-WMP was reported to have made an emergency landing in a rice field in Tirtamulya, Karawang, on Friday (21/11/2025). The plane, carrying five people, experienced a disturbance. A pilot, a backup pilot, two aircraft technicians, and one passenger were reported to be safe. ‘The plane did not crash but made an emergency landing due to a disturbance,’ said the Karawang Police Public Relations Officer, Ipda Cep Wildan. The five passengers aboard the plane, consisting of a pilot, a backup pilot, two aircraft technicians, and one passenger, all survived the emergency landing in the Tirtamulya area. Tirtamulya is one of the districts in Karawang with a geographical area of 47.76 km2, located in the northern part of Karawang Regency. The news of the plane crash in Tirtamulya, specifically in Kampung Ceplik, Desa Kertawaluya, shocked the surrounding residents on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM. A video showing the plane crash went viral on social media, with several witnesses observing the Skydive aircraft’s condition near the location.
